Greece Campaign – Think Globally, Act Locally!

The campaign has been launched with the aim to promote animal rights in Greece and to help local communities of stray animals to get much needed assistance. 

Status

The campaign is registered in Greece under the official name “ΕΠΙΤΥΧΗΣ ΔΙΑΧΕΙΡΙΣΗ ΤΩΝ ΔΙΚΑΙΩΜΑΤΩΝ ΤΩΝ ΖΩΩΝ ΣΗΜΕΡΑ”. It is registered as a charity organization and it has an official tax number.

Projects

  • We operate a 5-star cat rescue shelter in Athens, plus an additional foster home for special needs kitties.
  • Our international adoptions program is a solution for re-homing stray animals in need.
  • The sterilization program and feeding/medical assistance program is our way of improving the wellbeing of cats we cannot take into our shelter.
  • S.M.A.R.T. Yards are a solution for social responsibility toward our stray animal population, educating and bringing communities together. This initiative is also supported by our local mayors!
  • Education programs that have recently been approved by the Greek Ministry of Education and encourages the future generation to show compassion towards animals.
  • Our global volunteer program brings philanthropic minds to Greece to help us in our stray rescue efforts.
  • Through our veterinary internship program global students come to Greece to train for their future career and make a difference
